Recently, a batch of customized construction machinery products was successfully shipped from Lianyungang Port to Iraq. The shipment included 3-ton and 5-ton forklifts along with sprinkler trucks. The equipment will directly serve the key links of Iraq's infrastructure and industrial upgrading, precisely align with the core demands of its industrial development, aiding the nation in achieving dual improvements in industrial growth and livelihood enhancement during its reconstruction efforts.

Project Profile

During preparation, our company implemented specialized technical optimizations tailored to Iraq's extreme conditions of high temperatures and frequent dust storms, Ensuring that the equipment can adapt to the complex local working environment. Leveraging our mature global supply chain system and extensive Middle East market experience, we fulfilled the customer's requirements within 15 working days—spanning demand alignment, product customization and debugging, to international logistics coordination. The rapid response capability stems from years of deep insights into niche overseas engineering equipment needs and continuous refinement of our professional service system.

Quality Assurance

Currently, Iraq is advancing the implementation of its National Development Plan 2024-2028, which allocates 241.1 trillion dinars over five years for industrial, housing, and logistics infrastructure development. This batch of engineering equipment will primarily be used for cargo handling at industrial city logistics centers, port bulk cargo operations, and heavy equipment auxiliary transportation within industrial parks, directly reducing costs and enhancing efficiency for local real economy projects. This equipment export represents a concrete implementation of the China-Iraq “Oil-for-Reconstruction” cooperation framework.

The shipment of the equipment not only demonstrates our company's core service capabilities within the overseas equipment supply chain but also marks a significant step in advancing the Belt and Road Initiative and deepening cooperation in the Middle East market.

In the future, our company will continue to focus on markets with strong reconstruction demand, such as Iraq, establishing a comprehensive service model encompassing “customized R&D + logistics support + localized after-sales service.” By offering products and services tailored to local needs, we will further deepen China-Iraq economic and trade cooperation, injecting more “Chinese momentum” into industrial revitalization across the Middle East.
The procurement of overseas engineering materials refers to the process in which the engineering contractor selects and purchases materials, equipment and materials to meet the needs of overseas engineering project.

Material Supply Process

How to ensure the legality of material supply for overseas projects?

Understand the materials needed for overseas engineering and find suitable suppliers in China.
22
Handle relevant customs declaration procedures, such as materials, construction equipment and living supplies in the contract, and provide relevant documents, including commercial invoice, export license and other relevant certificates, packing list, customs declaration, contract, etc. Prepare the documents required for customs clearance. If there are special requirements, provide relevant certificates to conduct certification, such as CCPIT certificate of origin, partial cargo certificate and third -party inspection certificate.
